Web&Design Archive: 写真をベースにしたブックカバーのデザイン

ブックカバーは信じられないほど独創的なデザインプロジェクトだ。そしてカバーデザインは他のグラフィックデザインと比べても乱暴な挑戦していることがある。ブックカバーが何の本であるかだけではなく、ターゲットの読者に対しアピールすることも求められている。

ブックカバーを作るとき、多くのデザイナーが写真に頼るが、すべての本がカバーの写真撮影のために予算を持っているわけではないので、しばしばストックフォトが使われる。多くの本を手に取った読者が、デザインが多数のストックフォトを組み合わせて作られたイメージであることを、理解していないこともある。
